This is the most difficult post I’ve had to make. It is with a heavy heart that I am announcing The closing of The Tangled Vine. We will be open until the end of January. This adventure has been so amazing and we have loved every minute of it. I love our staff and all of our amazing customers who have become friends and family to us. We have made so many amazing memories. But we have also worked so crazy hard to keep these doors open. It was such a difficult decision to make because of all of you and because I love what we created together at The Vine. We started The Tangled Vine with a dream and a way to small budget and basically no idea what we were doing! We started immediately “post covid” and encountered so many supply issues and increases in prices and staffing issues. My dad passed away unexpectedly two weeks into us opening the doors. We faced a flood from a pipe bursting after year one, a truly changed economy, and an election year. We started when my kids were at much different ages and they have spent a large chunk of their time here as well. I don’t want it to be a sad moment but a happy month saying goodbye to everyone and rejoicing in all we accomplished and the memories we made together. So our theme for January will be “thank you for being a friend”. Because we are so thankful for all the friends we’ve made. We will have last events. Last craft nights, book club,trivia night, bingo night, cookie classes, NEOC event, and more. We will be marking down everything in the shop and each week as we get closer to closing the discount will increase. But when we are out of something we are out! Our hours may be reduced so be sure to check our updated hours posts. Otherwise the wine bar will continue to function as normal as possible throughout the month of January. The wines we offer by glass will vary but we will keep a good selection. We appreciate all of your support over the past 3+ years. While this may not be the end of The Tangled Vine it is goodbye for now. Only God knows what our future holds and what turn our story takes next.
